Thailand - Land of smiles- The Pattaya chapter

Continuing from my previous blog post about our Thailand trip here is the rest..

Pattaya must surely be one of the most blogged about cities on the planet, for obvious reasons covering just about anything related to Pattaya, from fancy bars all over the city, bar girls to lady-boys, from food to wildlife.
With Bangkok just over 100 kilometers away, Pattaya has been frequented by travelers from all over the world for its huge variety of activities and attractions to enjoy, whether you’ve come as a family, a couple or as a group of friends.

And yes we went for a bachelorette party so we sure did had a hell lot of fun.

Pattaya city
From luxurious beach resorts to bustling street markets, from diving into the blue sea to dancing the night away in the town’s hottest party places, Pattaya has all the ingredients for the perfect vacation and has all the Fancy shit. Though a group of friends can really have a good time here but the bitter truth is that guys in particular can have more "good time" than girls.

Some of the iconic places we visited here in this city are :
  • Pattaya beach
  • ALCAZAR cabaret show
  • The famous Walking street - With cheesy bars and colors all around if you know what I mean.
  • The Koh Larn island - Famous for Coral reefs
  • We did had to skip the Tiffany's Show due to time constraint. But you can visit that too.
Pattaya Night life
Pattaya nightlife is world-famous. You cannot even name the city without immediately thinking of Walking Street and the bright glare of its overlapping neon signs for clubs, discos, bars, go-gos, massage parlours and other forms of nocturnal entertainment.

ALCAZAR cabaret show
Being from India it makes me really think that outside India there is so much a Transgender can do to make money with full dignity and passion. Well yes this cabaret show is Asia's one of the biggest show which not only gives transgenders to showcase their talents but also puts in front of us an entire show of Dance Drama with mind-blowing talents.

A special mention for Walking street
Walking Street at Pattaya is the biggest and busiest party hotspot in the whole of Thailand, with only a couple of the top places in Bangkok beating it for sheer volume and variety. It remains open practically the entire night until 6 am.

We had our life time experience in just watching this street which was so colorful and packed with tourists.

A full kilometer from its high-tech gateway at the Beach Road end to the Bali Hai Plaza end, almost every building along its length is a nightclub, go-go bar, beer bar or restaurant. Each of the side streets – which span from Soi 14 to Soi 16, with a couple of uniquely-named streets in between - is more of the same, making the whole southern end of the city into a warren of nightlife entertainments, with something for practically every taste.

The remarkable thing about Pattaya Walking Street is that there is so much to see and do, and it is so densely packed that you could spend every night for a whole week there and, aside from having the mother of all hangovers, you would still be finding new places each and every evening.

The Sohotown Pattaya
The Sohotown is a Chinese market where the street food is awesome and you can really buy some cheap stuffs. We bought some good denim shorts, t shirts and food items.
The Koh Larn island
Thailand has many islands which are sheer beauty. We got only chance to visit this  island which is famous for Coral reefs.

You can either take a speedboat or Ferry from Pattaya beach to get here. Which ever way you take the sight and the time on the gulf of Thailand water is so serene you will definitely forget about everything in life and just enjoy the view.

We took a ferry ride and after 45 minutes we could see the stunningly green and blue water with white sands approaching.

Situated to the west of Pattaya, Larn island offers the tourists with beautiful sandy beaches, clear water, breathtaking landscape and stunning sunset.

This island is quite huge and you can take the entire day to roam about at many places here. But due to short time we had we had to return back to Pattaya after a 3 hours stroll on the Tawean beach.

And that was end of this Thailand trip. We had lot of fun and I am sure you had reading this.

The overall budget of our 4 days stay in Bangkok and Pattaya was around 40 thousand INR each person excluding shopping. It will be beneficial to you if you opt for hostels if you are bunch of friends. It will save some money definitely.
